Power League Gaming and Red Entertainment in partnership with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced the PLG Nationals with Injustice 2, a Middle East eSports program for the upcoming Injustice 2 video game from NetherRealm Studios.

Following the success of the 2015 Mortal Kombat X Middle East Cup and 2016 Mortal Kombat XL Middle East Cup run by PLG, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment teamed up with the Dubai-based eSports operator to bring a dedicated tournament series for the region, which will see players from Bahrain, KSA, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, UAE, Jordan and Lebanon compete for glory and prizes.

This program offers amateur and pro players alike a chance to compete in different live qualifiers throughout the month of May, June and July, in countries such as Lebanon, Bahrain and KSA, as well as an online qualifier, to reach one of the final 8 spots of the PLG Nationals with Injustice 2 Regional Finals which will be hosted in the UAE thanks to local partners VOX Cinemas, to fight for the Middle East Champion title and a prize pool of $5000 (split into 3000$ for first place, $1500 for second place and $500 for third).
